Absolutely awesome sushi spot. We live nearby so we have been going there since we moved in a few years ago. Super kind, DELICIOUS food (my husband loves the bento boxes), and they can accommodate gluten allergies with their sushi! I have celiac, and they’re super careful for me- even bringing me a bottle of GF tamari and walking me through the menu so I feel 100% safe. Highly recommend.
This is such a cozy vibe, the food is yummy, menu is expansive so you have lots to chose from. I got the unagi bento box (supreme I think?) I liked having all the bento box options. We settled on some rolls as we and we had to have the hot sake on the cold rainy day that we went. I haven't checked out any of the other sushi spots in the area but we got a good one on the first try.
We just love everything regarding this place. The food is always fresh, home-made delicious. The atmosphere and serving is great, super clean restaurant as well. We just love this place and we return with excitement every time we have the chance!
Excellent hole in the wall Japanese place, which is getting difficult to find. Nice cuts of sashimi. Very good nabe udon - flavorful broth, soft and chewy noddles, perfectly cooked egg, and crunch fried shrimp on a side. A perfect dish with a glass of Sapporo beer. Miso ramen also has excellent noodles and broth.
Fantastic sushi restaurant in the Glenview area. Terrific food, and a wide variety of options at various prices. The service is fantastic along with a very personal and comforting atmosphere. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant high-quality Japanese cuisine.
Always an amazing experience. The food is extremely fresh and tasty. The staff is always welcoming and the best part is that they remember you, even if a few months have lapsed. Highly recommended.
My all time favorite sushi place! Owners are such incredible people who are working so hard and they have so many regular customers for a reason. If you haven’t tried this spot you really should. My must haves are mussels and volcano roll but of course I always order another roll accompanied by miso soup. Sometimes if there is space and you want something sweet you should try mango maki.
Visiting Chicago and stopped at this family owned sushi restaurant which has opened 20 years in town. the best of the best sushi in Chicago. Ordered maki sushi (Caterpillar, Snow White, Tuna melody), calamari, miso beef ramen. Exceptional!! Highly recommended.
